Berklee Summer Semester

Twelve Weeks (Boston, MA)

Join other serious music students from all over the world and get a comprehensive taste of Berklee - no audition necessary! You’ll complete the first semester of Berklee College of Music’s core music curriculum and earn a full semester of college credits. Your classes will include private instruction, ensemble, ear training, harmony and arranging, and integrated music technology.

Guitar Sessions

The most comprehensive guitar program available—anywhere—awaits you. Dive into practical, hands-on playing experience as you refine your technique through a variety of classes, clinics, and performance activities. We’ll push you to challenge yourself, improve your skills, and develop your instrumental craft to become a guitarist with a strong musical identity.

Vocal Summit

Your voice is your instrument. Whether you’re a vocalist, a singer-songwriter, or an instrumentalist who sings, this program will provide you with world-class instruction in vocal technique, style, performance skills, singing with a band, group singing, and a cappella performance.

It's never too early to study at Berklee. Open to any instrumentalist or vocalist, this day program for middle school students will improve your theory, reading, and performance skills while expanding your musical palate. Join us in either one-, two-, three-, or four-week sessions and build the confidence you need to take your overall musicianship to the next level.

Songwriting Workshop

One- or Two-Week Sessions (Boston, MA)

Discover effective songwriting techniques through an exploration of lyrics, melody, rhythm, harmony, and the latest technology. Under the direction of hit songwriter Bonnie Hayes, chair of Berklee’s Songwriting Department, you’ll receive valuable feedback from veteran songwriters and industry professionals on your original material. Learn about the strategy of earning royalties and diversify your songwriting tool kit in this one- or two-week session.
